The SAMSA-MASAMU Annual conference took place in Pretoria, South Africa at The Innovation Hub. The conference involved an amalgamation of great minds in The Mathematics Field who came together to share ideas through powerful topics and discussion between November 18th and 27th 2016.

The conference included plenary sessions, invited talks and parallel sessions. The conference proved to be a valuable experience for students and professors alike. It represented an excellent opportunity for attendees to interact and exchange ideas with conference participants from across the world. The spirit of collaboration was strong in this, a conference organized and facilitated by The Simons Foundation through The Research and Graduate studies in mathematics and its applications (RGSMA).

Students and participants had nothing but praise for (RGSM) programme administrators Prof. Edward Lungu and Prof. Habtu Zegeye current of Botswana International University of Science and Tech (BIUST) for their kind cooperation and astute management of the project.
